Over the weekend the beautiful Victoria Beckham and her gorgeous husband David Beckham attended a party for the AC Milan team at the Harbour Hotel in Dubai. At first glance David looked a little worse for wear until we realized that the other party-goers were dressed in similar fashion. It isn’t often that Mr. Beckham doesn’t present himself dressed to the nines. Of course Victoria never misses a chance to be the belle of the ball, even during a simple day of shopping.
Why do celebrities lie about their weight?
Ok, so I just came across an article on MSN about the top 10 most wanted female bodies,
and was completely surprised about the weight and height relationship of the celebrities featured.
For example,
Kelly Brook: 5'8", 8st 5lbs, Size 12, BMI: 17.5
Victoria Beckham: 5'6", 7st 7lbs, Size 4, BMI: 16.97
Keira Knightley: 5'7", 8st 3lbs, Size 8, BMI: 18.04
So, considering that Kelly Brook has a BMI of 17.5 and is considered 'curvy' whilst Keira Knightley has a higher BMI and is considered too skinny, what the hell are they on about? Especially since Kelly Brook and Victoria Beckham almost have equivalent BMIs.
As a 5'8", 9st woman whom is a size 8, how on earth can i weigh more than Kelly Brook yet be a smaller dress size than her and still be called skinny, but not curvy?
